What is the New Moon?

  • The New Moon is the night when the sky is darkest because the earth is positioned directly between the sun and the moon.  In contrast to a full moon where the moon is completely visible.

  • When we remember that the lunar cycles affect all water on the earth, and we recognize that we are made of water, about half of our composition is water, … then we realize that being conscious of the cycles of the moon is to our benefit, both individually and collectively.

  • The New moon is an excellent time for setting intentions for new projects, for starting a new discipline, or just starting fresh in life. It is a period of that brief pause in the darkness before the day begins.

  • We can allow ourselves to deepen our own connection to our highest destiny through meditative practices during this time.

The Rite of the Womb is a ceremony channeled by Marcela Lobos of the Four Winds Society.

Yes! I want to receive this rite and heal my divine feminine creative center!

What is the Rite of the Womb?

a ceremony to heal our Divine Feminine, our Creative Center

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is it only for women?

No.  It was originally designed to be specifically for women.  And that is still who it is primarily intended to serve.  However, anyone who wants to heal their feminine side or anyone who wants to reclaim their creative potential can benefit from this work.  Every person, regardless of gender assigned at birth, has a sacral chakra and a creative center.  When we are in balance with our masculine and feminine sides we are more able to develop our creative skills and talents.

Why should we do this?

The lineage of medicine women who gave this rite to Marcela want us to remember that we did not come to this life to suffer, but to become co-creators of life and to dream a new world into being.

How deep does this work go?

This creative feminine life-force energy is often suppressed or lies dormant due to world-wide cultural misogyny. When women close down their innate creative powers, they leave themselves vulnerable to sadness and pain. Most of this pain and sorrow leads to a variety of illnesses and suffering.  When we do this work for ourselves, our families, and our communities, we are also doing this work for the earth, the greatest Womb of us all.
